The SAES On-Site Visiting Team's job is to assess the school's program and operation in light of the school's mission as reflected in the SAES Self-Study 1 and not to evaluate the professional personnel of the school. The team is made up of professional educators currently serving in SAES schools. Each team also includes the SAES Associate Director of Accreditation Services or a representative of SAES staff whose primary responsibilities include reviewing all the documents and facilitating all actions between the school and the team during the visit.
Visiting team members are nominated to serve on visiting teams by their Head of School. The SAES staff and Team Leader orients and trains visiting team members prior to the On-Site Visit and facilitates their work during the visit. Details of visiting team member's responsibilities may be found in the SAES Guide for OSV Team Members.
