After School
Care
St. James School
is proud to have an After School Care program that is
licensed by the State of
Texas. This licensing means that we
can offer quality after-school-care within the stringent
guidelines for quality control mandates by the Texas
Department of Human Resources. Each child enrolled in After
School Care must have a current immunization record and
birth certificate on file with the After School Care
Coordinator. The After School Care Program is extended only
to students enrolled in St. James School.
After
School Care (ASC) is available to all PreK through 8th
grade students on Monday through Friday between 11:30 and 5:30 p.m. (School uniform policies should be
followed.) Students must be registered to be considered for
the regular or drop-in rates.
To be
considered a regular ASC user, the students must be in the
program for a minimum of 1 hour per class day. A reduced
fee schedule is available for these students.
Drop-in students are students whose parents use the ASC on
an occasional basis. Parents must call the school by their
child’s dismissal time if they need their child to go to ASC.
(The parent may also pre-schedule the days he/she will be
needing ASC.) Drop-in ASC students are charged $3.00 for
every 5-minute to one hour interval.
Students in ASC have to be signed out by a parent or an
adult responsible for picking them up. After School Care is
open until 5:30 p.m. Parents of students who
are picked up after
5:30 p.m. will be charged
$5.00 for every 0-15 minute interval. Times will be rounded
up. The charge will not exceed $20.00 per hour. |
