Expanding Our Wings

St. Matthew's School, in conjunction with St. Matthew's Church is building a new "youth facility". This project will enhance the success of our unique curriculum. We believe that each child brings a special gift or talent to the classroom. By addressing the educational and emotional aspects necessary for children to develop into good citizens, we have created a curriculum that allows for a balanced, educational school day. We have developed a facilities expansion which includes:

LIBRARY - A "kiva" will allow a space for storytelling and a puppet theatre for children's creative expressions. Literature enrichment will abound with all of the books that will be available for our children and their families.

MUSIC AND MOTOR SKILLS ROOM - A large room will allow us to enrich and expand our wonderful music and motor skills program.

A "RAINY DAY" room will be used when we have inclement weather days and, when available, will be used for our parent meetings.

Your donation to the St. Matthew's School Building Fund will allow us to expand the present facility in these ways so that we may continue to enrich our learning environment and grow in the progress of "teaching the whole child" in a safe environment.
