  • Enjoy weekly units of science and social studies topics, such as gravity, force and motion, geography and world cultures.

  • Engage in daily hands-on science activities with topics such as magnets and measuring experiments.

  • Practice the scientific method by observing and asking questions about the world around them, developing hypotheses, performing experiments, and forming conclusions from experimental results.

  • Process new information through movement activities and such creative endeavors as group story writing and art projects.

  • Practice reading, writing and math concepts as they arise in group activities and science experiments.

  • Celebrate an overall sense of wonder, curiosity and enthusiasm for the natural work by asking questions and seeking answers.
