Authentic Leadership: Guideposts for Cultivating Inspiration, Creating
Meaning, and Fostering Accountability
Todays
school communities are packed with exhausted and anxious parents and
teachers trying their best to nurture overscheduled and anxious
children.
At the same time, families and faculty are
desperately searching for ways to feel inspired, find meaning in their
lives and work, and develop systems of accountability.
These competing realities put leaders in a
very difficult position when it comes to finding balance and perspective
for their school communities. In this lecture, we'll explore three
guideposts of authentic leadership and how leaders can use these
to create connected and compassionate schools.
